A Fire-breakout cannot be predicted and can happen to any place whether home, restaurant, any industry or commercial buildings. All it need is a little spark. But there are measures that can be taken to control and even prevent a hazardous fire breakout. Here are 5 fire fighting systems which should be compulsory for every commercial, industrial and home space.

1.      No Smoking indoors policy.
No smoking indoors not only safeguard against fire but also save non-smokers from second-hand smoking. There are currently various authorities and laws that support No-Smoking indoors policy. And for the pubs and clubs that allows smoking have a smoking room specially designed to contaminate smoking and hazard that can happen due to smoking.

2.      Fire Alarm and Detection Systems.
Whether is a residential or commercial building, early detection of a hazard is critical and can save life. Fire Alarm and Detection Systems should be installed at every floor the building. There are two major type in Fire Alarm i.e. Smoke Detectors and Heat Sensors.

The sprinkler discharges water automatically when a fire is detected, though it is not triggered by smoke. It controls or extinguishes the fire, so is both a fire detection and suppression system.

4.      Fire Extinguishers.
Fire Extinguishers are the most common fire fighting system found mostly in commercial and industrial space. It is very cost effective and a handy tool available in various sizes and types. Not only it is smart to keep an extinguisher but one should also be aware of which type of extinguisher is required.

5.      Fire Hydrant Systems
Fire Hydrant Systems are high pressure water pumps designed to fight Heavy Fire-breakout in residential, commercial buildings and industries. Fire Hydrant Systems is the need for a consistent water supply. If water is used up during a situation, there should be a system in place that automatically refills the supply.
